Certificate of Participation in Digital Content Creation and Marketing
Course Objectives:
The course aims to develop participants’ basic skills in key areas related to content creation, such as digital photography, videography, and graphic design, that would enable them to become content creators. As per Namibia’s National Human Resources Plan (2010 – 2025) which responds to the imperatives of Vision 2030, there is a need for deliberate human capacity development to build the “labour force necessary to meet the demands of the economy and address the problem of human resources skills shortages across all industrial sectors”. The course therefore seeks to enhance participants’ competences such as marketing skills as an enabler for initiatives such as stakeholder engagement by enabling them to effectively share and promote digital content on digital platforms.
Exit Learning Outcomes:
On completion of this short course, participants should be able to:
- Describe the role of digital content creators.
- Identify the content creation tools, skills and aptitudes of digital content creators.
- Use a variety of digital content creation tools and techniques.
- Develop digital content in multiple formats.
- Enhance and prepare digital content for various publishing purposes.
- Market and promote digital content using different strategies and platforms.
- Evaluate the impact of digital marketing strategies and campaign.
